Negro Leagues Baseball Museum Fundraiser 2020

UPDATE:

THAT'S A WRAP!  Thank you so much for helping raise funds for the Museum and supporting the shop.  During the sale, we committed to donating 20% of sales during that time period.  Through your generosity, our donation to the Museum is $283.20 which we will round up to $300.  Everyone involved in the benefit is grateful for this opportunity.

On September 17, 1947, with more than a week remaining in the Major League Baseball season, Sporting News, named Jackie Robinson MLB “Rookie of the Year”. I'm so excited to announce a special partnership between the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) and the arts & small business community.

In the words of NLBM President Bob Kendrick, “We are overwhelmed by the tremendous show of solidarity from the artist community, who are sharing their amazing talent in this unprecedented salute to the Negro Leagues and in support of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City.”

During the week of October 4-10, more than 75 artists, makers, and small retailers will participate in an online benefit sales event for the NLBM in Kansas City. Participating artists and small-business owners from Asia, Europe, and North America will create original art pieces and fan-gear while hosting sales events and auctions on our own websites and social media pages.

Tailgate is very proud to be standing together with the arts and small business community, to celebrate the heroes of the Negro Leagues and raise valuable funding for the NLBM.

Please come support the NLBMArt community and celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the Negro Leagues at www.nlbmart.com

When you shop with us October 4-10, proceeds from sales will be donated to the NLBM. Tailgate has committed to donating 20% of sales from products and designs that celebrate the Negro Leagues.  Each vendor will be offering their own special deals and their own unique arts and hand-crafted merchandise. Please check out the website to see all of the wonderful creations from fellow baseball lovers!

I will be producing some unique and limited edition designs that will be available ONLY during that week of the fundraiser.  Tailgate will also have some NL clothing and hats available for sale and will also be donating 20% from those items (I'll include a complete list at a later time).

Thank you for supporting the Arts and Small Business community!

xoxo
